pools is a Jazz band that is inspired by brazilian and pop music. Although the focus lies on compositions, enough space is left for creative improvisation. Vibrant grooves and unison lines played by piano and bass are combined with lyrical ballads and simple but catchy melodies tell stories of walks along the river seine in Paris and travels to Prague. The songs, which have been composed by the band’s pianist, range from simple to complex and are never short of lively energy.
